About

A whole sunken city from one low poly kit. Six ground modules share a 4 m grid and a full width silt bed, so silted seabed, cracked paving, sand drift, mosaic, stepped terrace and temple platform lay into one continuous floor with no gaps and one deck height. The masonry runs on the same grid: coursed wall runs intact and collapsed, a doorway bay whose single leaf swings, a standing arch on nine cut voussoirs and its half fallen twin, columns standing, stacked as loose drums, gone over in three broken lengths, and a capital lying on its own. Dressing them are an obelisk, a stepped plinth, a statue base with the feet still on it, a fallen torso, a carved panel, a sundial, an octagonal fountain, a well head, a brazier of glowing coals and heaps of rubble. The ship that struck the ruin gives a hull section, a set of frames, a mast stump, a rudder, a stocked anchor, a chain run, crates, amphorae upright, toppled and in a spilled pile, a spill of blank coins and a bound chest whose lid lifts. The growth is kelp, a sea fan, three corals, anemones, a barrel sponge, a barnacle crust, sea grass, an urchin, a starfish and a clam, and there is a bubble column, a shaft of daylight, a shoal plate and a crystal cluster that turns on its plinth. Two assembled scenes ship with it: a drowned temple precinct and a wreck on open sand flats. Rigid node transform clips only, no skinning: the doorway leaf, the chest lid and the crystal are the only moving parts, which is what a ruin honestly has. Kelp, sea fans, sea grass, bubbles, light shafts and the water itself are modelled solid and never move, because flexible material, fluid and light each need a joint per element or a shader and none of that is reachable with one rigid node transform. This is geometry for an underwater scene, not an underwater simulation. There are no creatures in the pack: the urchin, starfish and clam are static props and the fish shoal is a flat decorative plate, so nothing here is rigged, skinned or animated as an animal. No city is named, no real site is reproduced, and every relief, mosaic and carved band is an invented abstract shape rather than a real script. Original AI assisted CC0 geometry.

Common questions

How do I use Sunken City and Underwater Ruins with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Sunken City and Underwater Ruins with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Sunken City and Underwater Ruins in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Sunken City and Underwater Ruins fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
