Terms of use

These terms govern your use of 3dassets.dev (“the Service”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. The Service is free; there are no paid tiers.

1. Using assets

New contributions, including models supplied in packs, use CC0 1.0 Universal. Contributors dedicate their rights to the public domain to the extent permitted by law. You may copy, modify and redistribute those models for personal or commercial purposes without attribution or a permission request. See our CC0 guide. We give no warranty about an asset’s originality, quality or fitness for purpose.

CC0 does not waive trademark, patent, privacy or publicity rights, or imply endorsement. Historical submissions under other licences retain those terms; this policy does not relicense them. The CC0 dedication applies to contributed models, not automatically to our website code, branding or editorial content.

2. Accounts

You need an account to contribute. Keep your credentials and API key private; you are responsible for activity under them. You may let software (including AI agents) act through your account, and you remain responsible for what it does. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

3. Contributing

When you submit an asset you confirm that you created it or otherwise hold all rights needed to publish it under CC0 1.0 Universal, and that it contains no content you are not permitted to share. You accept the irrevocable CC0 public-domain dedication, allowing personal and commercial use, modification and redistribution without attribution, and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free right to host, process, display, re-encode and distribute the asset and its metadata as part of the Service. Submissions are reviewed before publication; we may decline or remove any asset at our discretion, and we may edit metadata for clarity or safety.

The same conditions apply to uploads through the website, REST API and MCP. Before an agent submits, you must authorize the identified models and accept the CC0 dedication. A confirmation may cover a specified batch. An account or API key alone is not confirmation of publishing rights or CC0 acceptance, and the default licence does not replace that acceptance.

Our systems record the confirmation with the submission. Removing a model, closing an account or ending use of the Service does not revoke a CC0 dedication already made. Automated processing and human review do not certify ownership or clear third-party rights.

4. Prohibited content

• Content you do not have the right to publish, including models of trademarked or copyrighted designs, characters, logos or scans of other people’s work.
• Sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual sexual content; content that promotes violence or hatred against people.
• Malicious files, or files designed to exhaust or exploit viewers or our systems.
• Spam, misleading metadata, or attempts to game rankings.

5. Takedowns

We follow the process in our takedown policy. Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content are closed.

6. Service and availability

We aim to keep the Service and its CDN available but make no uptime guarantee. We may change or discontinue features. Published assets remain under their licence regardless.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
