About

A complete modern marina and yacht club in one coherent realistic family, built so a developer can assemble a harbour rather than dress one. The water is the centre: ported 8 m sea plane modules meet ported floating pontoon modules, straight, tee and corner, at 8 m by 2.4 m with the deck 0.34 m above the surface, and finger berths hang off them to make 4 m berths. The pontoons carry what a real one carries, service pedestals with power and water, cleats, mooring rings, dock boxes, berth number posts, boarding ladders, jetty lamps, lifebuoy stands, a fire point, a fuel berth pump, a pump out station and fender sets, held on station by mooring piles and their guide collars and reached over a hinged gangway through a keypad gate. The boats are a 9.6 m cruising sloop hull with a fin keel, a deck stepped mast with boom and standing rigging, a furled sail set, a sloop deck module with a wheel and winches, an 11.5 m motor cruiser with a flybridge, a RIB tender, a sailing dinghy on its launching trolley and a three bay dinghy rack, with navy topside variants of both larger hulls. Ashore there is a travel hoist, a mast crane, adjustable cradles, a boat laid up under a winter cover, a road trailer, a rigging bench, sail bags, an outboard stand, a wash down point and a waste point, on ported hardstanding and car park slabs behind harbour wall modules and a concrete slipway. The club itself is a two storey front with a balcony, a chandlery, a race office, a start line gun platform, a flag mast, a notice board, a chart table, a winch handle rack and terrace furniture. Animation is rigid node transforms only: the gangway ramp tilts, the pontoon gate, dock box, bin lids, chandlery, clubhouse and race office doors, the office hatch, the fuel nozzle and the chart drawer open and close, the hoist lifts and traverses, the crane slews, the helm wheel and the winch drums turn, and the hoist, trailer and trolley wheels roll. Standing and running rigging, sails, mooring warps, fenders on their lines, flags, hoist slings and the water are modelled solid and stay still, because flexible cloth, rope and a fluid each need a joint per element or a shader and neither is reachable with one rigid node transform; hulls rest on the water plane and do not bob. There are no people and no skinned meshes. No marina, club, boat builder, engine maker, sailmaker or regatta is named or depicted, no real vessel is reproduced, and every name board, sail number, burgee, flag, sign and plate is blank or an invented abstract shape.

Common questions

How do I use Marina and Yacht Club with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Marina and Yacht Club with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Marina and Yacht Club in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Marina and Yacht Club fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
