About
A complete modern vehicle ferry port in one coherent realistic family, built so a developer can assemble a terminal rather than dress one. The berth is the pack's centre: a quay of ported 4 m coping tiles with fender panels, bollards, a bunker point and lifebuoy posts, breasting dolphins standing in 8 m water tiles, a linkspan bridge section that tilts on its shore hinge under a pair of hydraulic towers, two shore ramp sections climbing to it, and the ferry itself, a berthed stern section modelled from the waterline up whose stern ramp lowers onto the bridge. The marshalling yard is ported lane tiles with plain and hatched markings, a three lane check in island, barrier arms, a lane number gantry, a cantilever signal, a weighbridge and a staff hut, with a car, a van, a tractor unit and a box semi trailer to fill them. The passenger terminal is built from ported 4 m facade bays and an entrance bay with sliding doors, roof cassettes, check in desks, ported seating banks, a sailings board, a kiosk, ticket gates, toilets, a lift and stair core, luggage trolleys and racks, wayfinding totems and a ported covered walkway out to the gangway tower. Animation is rigid node transforms only: the stern ramp, the barriers, the ticket gates, the entrance doors and the toilet doors open and close, the linkspan deck and the board flaps tilt, and every vehicle wheel and trolley castor rolls. Water, mooring ropes, fender rubber, hydraulic rams, cables and the gangway bellows are modelled solid and stay still, because none of them is reachable with a rigid node transform. No operator, shipping line, port authority or vehicle maker marks anywhere.
