About

Everything a developer needs to build a gallery of two or three rooms and the front of house in front of them. The room is modular: a 2 m by 3.2 m white wall panel with a dark edge reveal and a cornice tiles into a run of any length, with a matching doorway module, a fire exit module, a 4.2 m tall bay, a movable partition on feet, a 2 m skirting run and a 2 m floor tile in boarded and poured finishes. Over it runs 2 m lighting track with clamp on spot heads, and picture lights on brackets. The display side is a hang: framed canvases in four sizes and two palettes, an unframed stretched canvas, a diptych, a picture rail with hanging wires, plinths at three heights, a vitrine case with a lifting lid, a wall mounted display case, a sculpture stand with a turning platter, a bust pedestal, an abstract form for a plinth top, a wall text panel, a room name plate, a caption card set, an interactive screen on a stand and a projector plinth. Front of house is a reception desk, a ticket scanner, a cloakroom counter and rail, a bank of six bag lockers, a shop counter with its merchandise shelf, cafe settings, a pushchair park, a wheelchair, a floor plan board, an audio guide charging rack, benches, an invigilator chair, rope barrier posts, retractable belt stanchions, an art handling trolley, an artwork crate, a gloves and tools tray, a humidity monitor, a cleaning trolley and a bin. Every painted surface in the pack is an abstract composition of colour blocks on a plain ground and every panel, plate and label carries plain bars instead of characters: nothing reproduces, imitates or evokes any existing artwork, artist, style or institution, there is no readable text and no name anywhere, and the art is placeholder geometry meant to be replaced with the work being shown. What moves is rigid node transforms only: the doorway and fire exit leaves, the six locker doors, the vitrine and crate lids, the sculpture turntable, the interactive screen tilt, and the castors and wheels under the trolleys and the wheelchair. What does not move is said in each description and is deliberate: canvases are hung and fixed, ropes, belts, hanging wires, coat hangers and the waste sack are cloth, webbing or cable and this library has no skinning, a lighting beam is not geometry so a spot is aimed once, and the folding wheelchair frame and the retracting belt cassette are linkages no single rigid node can carry. All original CC0 geometry, no brands and no logos.

Common questions

How do I use Art Gallery and Exhibition Rooms with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Art Gallery and Exhibition Rooms with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Art Gallery and Exhibition Rooms in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Art Gallery and Exhibition Rooms fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
