About

A modern realistic recording studio library for building a live room, a control room and everything in them. The instruments are modelled as instruments: electric, bass and acoustic guitars with waisted bodies, fretted necks, tuners and strings on their stands, a five piece kit broken into a bass drum with rack toms, a snare on its basket stand, a floor tom, a crash on a straight stand and a hi-hat, a synth on an X stand and an upright piano, with a valve combo, an eight by ten bass rig, a pedal board and microphones on boom and straight stands. The control room holds a sixteen channel console with a meter bridge, nearfield monitors on stands, a rack cabinet and a wheeled outboard rack, a screen desk, a chair, a patch bay, a monitor controller, headphones on a wall hook and a two inch tape machine. Three modular systems build the rooms: floating floor modules on a 1 m grid with floor-left, floor-right, floor-front and floor-back ports, wall modules on a 1.2 m grid 2.4 m tall in acoustic panel, window and door versions with wall-left and wall-right, capped by a corner bass trap, and isolation screens on 0.9 m that fold into a booth. Case lids, rack drawers, the door leaf, the crash and hi-hat cymbals, both tape reels, the cable drum and the chair seat are named nodes on their own pivots and ship rigid open, close, spin and tilt clips: node transforms only, no skinning. Strings, cables, headphone leads, tape, cymbal felts and the fabric of screens and clouds stay static, because a flexible run is not reachable with a rigid node transform and faking it costs a consumer more than it gives. Every file is self-contained CC0 geometry with no collision or navigation data.

Files load directly from the CDN. Choose the pieces you need. Colliders, navigation and gameplay scripts are supplied by your game.

Common questions

How do I use Music Recording Studio and Instruments with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Music Recording Studio and Instruments with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Music Recording Studio and Instruments in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Music Recording Studio and Instruments fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.

Isolation Screen (Music Recording Studio and Instruments)

Isolation Screen (Music Recording Studio and Instruments)

A free-standing 900 by 1800 mm isolation screen: a framed 70 mm absorber in grey fabric on a steel post frame with weighted feet. Its screen-left and screen-right ports meet the next screen square or at a right angle, so three of them fold into a vocal booth.
