About

A complete velodrome as a modular kit, built so the banking works. The lap is laid from 8 m straight modules banked at 13 degrees, 30 degree bend segments banked at 42, and a transition segment that eases from one to the other with a smoothstep across its sweep, in a handed pair so a bend leaves and rejoins the straight at the slope it arrives with. Every curved module is cut to the same 13 m inner radius and takes the centre of that circle as its origin, so a bend is laid by placing six pieces at one point and turning them, and the surface comes out continuous rather than as flat slabs set at angles. Round the inside run the blue cote d azur, the concrete apron and the blue infield floor on the same construction, with the sprinters, stayers and measurement lines, a pursuit line and a black and white finish line on overlay plates cut to the straights camber. The arena is the officials side and the public side: a judges tower and timing hut with opening doors, a photo finish rig, a start light tree, a lap board that flips, a bell that rocks, a timing desk, a starting gate whose holder arm releases, two tiers of seating with hospitality box fronts, banner rails and a scoreboard and big screen whose faces are deliberately blank, flood light trusses, hung lighting bars, roof portals, wall panels, a tunnel mouth and a stair core. The track centre is furnished the way a training night leaves it: riderless track bicycles upright, leaned and on a work stand, a roller set and a turbo trainer with spinning drums, a bike rack, a wheel rack with disc and spoked wheels, a mechanics bench with a drawer, a track pump, a spares crate, a helmet rack, kit bags, bottles, a soigneurs table, an empty physio bed and a mat stack. There are no people anywhere and no skinning: the bicycles are riderless and the beds and tables are empty. Clips are rigid node transforms only. Chains, drive belts, cabling, banner fabric, kit bags, mats and every screen face are modelled solid and stated as static, because flexible material and a display need a joint per element or a shader that a rigid node cannot give. Nothing in the pack names or depicts a real velodrome, federation, team, race, event or manufacturer: every screen, board, banner, panel and frame is blank or carries invented abstract shapes. Original AI-generated CC0 geometry, prepared for human review. No physics, gameplay, colliders, navigation or embedded lights.

Common questions

How do I use Velodrome and Track Cycling with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Velodrome and Track Cycling with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Velodrome and Track Cycling in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Velodrome and Track Cycling fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.

Everything in this pack

Banked Track Straight Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Banked Track Straight Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

An 8 m straight of velodrome track, 6 m of timber surface banked at 13 degrees, standing on steel trestle bents with the inner edge on the floor. Ports at each end on the mid radius, so straights tile into the home and back straights of a lap.

@3dassets116 tris
Banked Track Bend Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Banked Track Bend Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 30 degree segment of velodrome bend: 6 m of timber surface banked at a constant 42 degrees on a 13 m inner radius, carried on steel bents. The origin is the centre of the circle it is cut from, so four of these and two transitions turn a half lap.

@3dassets196 tris
Banked Track Transition Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Banked Track Transition Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 30 degree segment easing the bank from the straights 13 degrees to the bends 42 with a smoothstep, on the same 13 m inner radius and the same ports, so the track changes slope gradually instead of stepping between flat pieces set at angles.

@3dassets196 tris
Banked Track Transition Module (Mirrored) (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Banked Track Transition Module (Mirrored) (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The handed pair of the transition segment, easing from 42 degrees of bend back down to the 13 degree straight across its 30 degrees. A bend takes one of each, so the surface leaves and rejoins the straight at the same slope it arrives with.

@3dassets196 tris
Cote d'Azur Strip Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Cote d'Azur Strip Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The 0.6 m blue strip that runs round the inside of the racing surface, level with the apron and flush with the tracks inner edge. An 8 m straight length with ports at both ends.

@3dassets12 tris
Cote d'Azur Bend Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Cote d'Azur Bend Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The curved 30 degree length of the blue strip, cut to the same 13 m inner radius as the bend modules it sits against. The origin is the centre of the circle, so twelve of these close the two bends.

@3dassets52 tris
Track Apron Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Track Apron Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

An 8 m length of the flat concrete apron between the track centre and the cote d azur, 3 m wide and 0.35 m thick so its surface is level with the tracks inner edge. Ports at both ends.

@3dassets12 tris
Track Apron Bend Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Track Apron Bend Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The curved 30 degree length of the apron, cut to a 9.4 m inner radius so it closes round the ends of the track centre. The origin is the centre of the circle it is cut from.

@3dassets52 tris
Sprinters and Stayers Line Plate (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Sprinters and Stayers Line Plate (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

An 8 m overlay plate carrying the three lines that run the length of the track: the white measurement line 0.2 m up from the inner edge, the red sprinters line at 1.05 m and the blue stayers line at 2.45 m. Cut to the straights 13 degree camber and laid on a straight module.

@3dassets84 tris
Pursuit Line Plate (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Pursuit Line Plate (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The white pursuit line across the full 6 m width of the track, on a 0.5 m overlay plate cut to the same 13 degree camber. Two of these sit half a lap apart on opposite straights, which is where a pursuit starts and finishes.

@3dassets36 tris
Finish Line Plate (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Finish Line Plate (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The finish line across the track: a 0.55 m overlay plate of ten black and white blocks running the full 6 m width, cut to the straights 13 degree camber so it lies flush on a straight module in front of the judges tower.

@3dassets120 tris
Track Surface Board Panel (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Track Surface Board Panel (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A spare panel of track decking, 2.4 by 1.2 m of pale pine boards on two steel bearers, for laying flat in the track centre as a repair stack or a working platform. Six raised boards read as the plank courses of the running surface.

@3dassets108 tris
Infield Safety Rail Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Infield Safety Rail Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 4 m bay of the tubular rail that separates the track centre from the apron: three footed posts with a top rail at 1 m and a mid rail, in steel. Ports at both ends, so bays run round the whole infield.

@3dassets132 tris
Track Side Fence Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Track Side Fence Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 4 m bay of the 2.2 m fence that closes the back of the track apron: two footed posts, three steel rails and eleven charcoal uprights. Ports at both ends so it runs round the inside of the arena.

@3dassets240 tris
Concourse Floor Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Concourse Floor Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

An 8 m square of poured concourse floor, 0.12 m thick, with a saw cut joint crossing it. Edge ports on all four sides, so a plot lays as one continuous surface under the track and the seating.

@3dassets36 tris
Infield Floor Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Infield Floor Module (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

An 8 m square of the blue track centre floor, 0.12 m thick, with white marking tape along two edges. Edge ports on all four sides so the whole infield lays flat and continuous inside the apron.

@3dassets36 tris
Starting Gate with Holder Frame (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Starting Gate with Holder Frame (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The wheeled frame that holds a bicycle upright for a standing start: a ballasted base on castors, two uprights and a head rail, with a hinged holder arm that lifts clear to release. The arm is a named node on the head rail pivot.

@3dassets232 tris
Start Light Tree (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Start Light Tree (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The three lamp start light tree used for timed starts: a ballasted mast 2.6 m tall with a charcoal head carrying red, amber and green lenses facing the track. The lenses are plain coloured discs and emit no light.

@3dassets168 tris
Judges Tower (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Judges Tower (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The raised officials tower on the home straight: a concrete base, four steel legs, a glazed cabin 3.3 m up with a run of steps to its door, and a flat roof deck. The cabin door is a named node on its hinge stile. Unlit and unoccupied.

@3dassets364 tris
Timing Hut (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Timing Hut (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The trackside timing hut: a 3 by 2.4 m cabin with a long glazed window to the track, a charcoal roof, a step at the door and a blank red fascia band. The door is a named node on its hinge stile. Empty inside and unlit.

@3dassets84 tris
Photo Finish Rig (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Photo Finish Rig (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The photo finish camera on its tripod: three splayed steel legs, a pan head and a charcoal body with a lens barrel and a yellow control box, 1.8 m to the lens. Static, because the head is a linkage rather than a single rigid joint.

@3dassets136 tris
Lap Board and Stand (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Lap Board and Stand (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The laps to go board on its stand: a two post frame with a blank white card and a hinged charcoal leaf over it that flips on the head rail. The number face is a plain white block, so a project can letter it however it likes.

@3dassets108 tris
Bell on a Stand (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Bell on a Stand (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The bell rung for the last lap, hung from a two post stand 1.6 m up: a brass coloured bell with a clapper ball, on a named node at the head rail so the whole bell rocks. The stand is ballasted and the bell is struck by hand, so nothing else moves.

@3dassets160 tris
Spectator Seating Bay (Lower Tier) (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Spectator Seating Bay (Lower Tier) (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 6 m bay of the lower seating tier: four raked rows of moulded seats in alternating red and blue on a concrete rake, with a handrail across the back. Ports at both ends so bays run the length of a straight.

@3dassets204 tris
Spectator Seating Bay (Upper Tier) (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Spectator Seating Bay (Upper Tier) (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The upper tier bay: the same 6 m frontage with five rows on a 1.6 m concrete fascia, so it stands over a lower tier bay behind it. Ports at both ends.

@3dassets240 tris
VIP Box Front (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

VIP Box Front (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The front of a hospitality box: a 6 m concrete parapet 1.1 m high with a charcoal capping, a glass rail above it and a blank blue panel on the face. Ports at both ends so boxes run in a terrace.

@3dassets120 tris
Big Screen Frame (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Big Screen Frame (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The arena big screen: a 6.4 by 3.6 m charcoal frame on two steel legs, 8 m to the top. The face is deliberately blank, a plain dark panel for a project to map its own video or texture onto.

@3dassets108 tris
Scoreboard Frame (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Scoreboard Frame (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A trackside scoreboard: a 4.2 by 1.7 m frame on two posts with a blank white face and a red header band. Nothing is written on it, so a project can letter or texture the face as it likes.

@3dassets108 tris
Banner Rail Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Banner Rail Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 4 m bay of the trackside banner rail: two posts, a top rail and a blank white panel with a yellow edge band. The panel carries no wording or logo of any kind. Ports at both ends so the rail runs the length of a straight.

@3dassets108 tris
Crowd Barrier Set (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Crowd Barrier Set (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 2.4 m linked crowd barrier with splayed feet, a top rail at 1.05 m and six uprights, in bare steel. Ports at both ends so a run of them closes off an entrance or a working area.

@3dassets168 tris
Cone Set (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

@3dassets240 tris
Flood Light Truss (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Flood Light Truss (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A free standing lighting mast: two ballasted A frames carrying a 5.2 m lattice truss at 6 m with four flood heads on it, faces down. The lamp faces are plain white panels and no light is emitted.

@3dassets288 tris
Ceiling Light Rig (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Ceiling Light Rig (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A suspended lighting bar for the hall roof: a 4.4 m lattice truss with two drop rods above it and four downlight cans under it. The origin is free, at the centre of the truss, because it hangs rather than stands; the rods reach 0.9 m above it.

@3dassets440 tris
Roof Truss Section (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Roof Truss Section (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 12 m portal of the hall roof: two 6 m steel columns on pad bases carrying a lattice truss with a strip of charcoal decking over it. Ports at both ends, so portals bay out along a wall. One edge of a plot is enough to read as a building.

@3dassets300 tris
Arena Wall Panel Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Arena Wall Panel Run (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A 4 m bay of the arena wall: a 5.9 m white panel on a concrete kicker with pilasters at each end, a charcoal head band and a blue stripe at high level. Ports at both ends so bays run along the back of the seating.

@3dassets72 tris
Entrance Tunnel Mouth (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Entrance Tunnel Mouth (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

The mouth of the players tunnel onto the track apron: a 6 m concrete headwall with a 3.4 by 2.9 m dark opening, a capping band, a yellow lintel stripe and blue reveals. The opening is a recess, not a corridor.

@3dassets96 tris
Stair Core (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Stair Core (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A concrete stair core up to the upper concourse: a 3 by 4.6 m base, a solid flight of ten steps against a white core wall, a steel balustrade on the open side and a landing at 3.35 m. It stands on its own, so it drops against a seating tier or a wall.

@3dassets268 tris
Presentation Podium (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

Presentation Podium (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A three step presentation podium 3.2 m across, in white and grey concrete with blue treads and a front kick rail. Empty: there are no people or trophies in this pack.

@3dassets468 tris
Warm Up Roller Set (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Warm Up Roller Set (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A three drum roller set for warming up on: a low charcoal frame, two rear drums and one front drum on steel rails, with the belt between them modelled as a solid strip. Each drum is a named node on its own axle and spins. 1.5 m long.

@3dassets288 tris
Turbo Trainer (Velodrome and Track Cycling)Animated

Turbo Trainer (Velodrome and Track Cycling)

A direct drive turbo trainer standing empty: splayed charcoal feet, a resistance unit body with a red cover and a steel drive drum that is a named node and spins. No bicycle is fitted, so it can be paired with any of the three bicycles.
