About

Everything needed to build a tented safari camp and the bush lodge behind it. The camp side is canvas and timber: ridge tents in two sizes on their own boarded decks, each with a flaps open variant, an awning and guy set, a camp bed under a mosquito net frame, a canvas wash stand, a bucket shower frame with its duckboard and screens, a long drop hut, thatched rondavels in two sizes and a lodge frontage with an open sided veranda, plus timber deck modules, raised walkway bays with rope handrails, thatch roof bays and a low viewing platform that all chain on real connector ports. The living side is the fire pit in its ring of stones with log seats and a firewood stack, the kitchen boma with a grill and a hanging pot, a prep table, a water filter stand, cool boxes, a laid dining table with folding chairs, storm lanterns and a paraffin lamp. Power and water are a solar panel on a ground frame, a battery box, a skid mounted water bowser and a header tank on a timber stand. The game drive side is an open sided bush vehicle with roll bars and three bench rows, a spare wheel, a jerrycan rack, a rack of closed hard cases, a radio table, a field desk with binoculars and an abstract map, a camera and a spotting scope on tripods. The bush around it tiles from 6 m ground modules in dust and dry grass tones with a track, a sand riverbed and a sunken water hole on the same ports, boma thorn and pole and wire fencing, a gate with a blank sign board, acacias in two sizes, a baobab, scrub, grass tufts, termite mounds, bleached bones and a dung ball. Nothing here is a real lodge, operator, park, vehicle marque or outdoor brand, and no real place is reproduced: every sign face, panel and case is blank or carries invented abstract shapes, and the cases on the rack are closed boxes with no contents modelled. Clips are rigid node transforms only: tent flaps and hut doors swing, the camp gate swings, the cooler and battery box lids lift, the vehicle wheels roll, the bowser tap turns, the camera and spotting scope heads pan, the shower bucket tips and the kitchen pot swings on its hook. Canvas, mosquito netting, guy ropes, thatch, rope handrails, fire, smoke and water are modelled solid and stated as static, because flexible material, fire and fluid each need a joint per element or a shader and none of them is reachable with one rigid node transform. The pack contains no creatures, because the library has no skinned meshes; the catalogue supplies the animals in its savanna wildlife pack, and this is the camp they are watched from. Original AI-generated CC0 geometry, prepared for human review. No physics, gameplay, colliders, navigation or embedded lights.

Files load directly from the CDN. Choose the pieces you need. Colliders, navigation and gameplay scripts are supplied by your game.

Common questions

How do I use Safari Camp and Bush Lodge with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Safari Camp and Bush Lodge with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Safari Camp and Bush Lodge in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Safari Camp and Bush Lodge fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
