About

One complete open deck of a modern cruise ship in a single realistic family, built so a developer can assemble a ship's deck rather than dress one. The structure is modular on a 6 m grid: teak and painted steel deck plates, jogging track, shuffleboard, dance floor and carpeted lounge plates that all tile together, promenade sections and corners carrying the ship's bulwark and cap rail, a standalone bulwark and railing run, glass windbreaks, superstructure wall runs with cabin windows and balcony runs with glass balustrades that stack deck on deck, balcony dividers, shade canopies, lounge wall panels and ceiling cassettes, and 8 m sea tiles that lay the water out flush with the deck so nothing shows through past the rail. The ship's own gear is here too: a lifeboat in gravity davits that swing the boat out and down, liferaft canisters, muster boards, a mooring winch, an anchor windlass, bollards, a deck hatch, a companionway stair, a watertight crew door, a hinged gangway and a tender pontoon, with a funnel and a radar mast for the skyline. The leisure deck is a raised pool with steps and coping, a hot tub, sun loungers flat and reclined, parasols, towel and planting, deck quoits and a games table, a poolside bar with stools and a back fitting of blank bottles, a buffet servery with sneeze guards, a cook to order station, a drinks fountain, service, linen and luggage trolleys, and a lounge of sofas, armchairs, low tables, cafe tables and chairs, a stage with a blank backdrop, a grand piano and a bandstand. Animation is rigid node transforms only: the davit arms swing the boat out, the gangway hinges down, the deck hatch, the crew door and the bar and buffet cupboards open and close, the piano lid lifts, the parasol canopy travels up its runner, the winch drum, the windlass cable lifter and the radar scanner turn, and every trolley castor rolls. Water, mooring ropes, canopy canvas, towels, flags and screen faces are modelled solid and stay still, because a fluid, a flexible material or a display needs a shader or a joint per element and none of that is reachable with one rigid node transform. There are no people and no skinned meshes anywhere. Nothing carries a cruise line, shipbuilder, hotel, drinks or entertainment mark: every sign, board, menu, bottle and screen face is blank, and the funnel is deliberately left plain, because a funnel marking is exactly how a real line is identified.

Common questions

How do I use Cruise Ship Deck and Lounge with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Cruise Ship Deck and Lounge with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Cruise Ship Deck and Lounge in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Cruise Ship Deck and Lounge fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
