About

A modern realistic nuclear power station for building a plant floor and fitting it out. The shell is modular: 4 by 4 m floor slabs plain, hatched and hazard marked, 4 m precast wall panels plain and with a doorway, roof slabs, walkway grating, handrail runs, a stair tower and a cage ladder, so a hall of any size can be laid out and left open topped as a cutaway. In the reactor hall, 90 degree containment sections sawn through so a compartment can be seen into, one with an equipment hatch, the concrete cavity ring, a 5.8 m vessel head carrying thirty seven control rod drive mechanisms, a portal refuelling machine whose trolley traverses and whose mast runs down, a 12 m gantry crane with a traversing crab, a hook block that hoists, and the spent fuel pond in edge and corner bays with storage racks, a shielded flask, a fuel assembly on its cradle and a stand of spare rod clusters. In the turbine hall, a split turbine casing, a shaft line that turns between its bearing pedestals, a turbo generator, a condenser, feed pumps, a heat exchanger, a steam drum, pipe gallery bays with flanged gate valves, and a bank of six isolating handwheels. The control room is a curved three bay desk with switch fascias and instrument heads, analogue dial banks, a strip chart recorder whose paper drum turns, mimic boards, a rod position matrix, an alarm annunciator, a guarded scram push, instrument racks, a shift log desk, a key cabinet and a telephone rack. Health physics adds an area monitor pillar, a hand and foot monitor, a dosimeter rack, a PPE locker with suits, a decontamination shower, a survey bench, a sampling glovebox, waste drums and a hand drum stacker. The electrical side adds a transformer with a tap changer wheel, switchgear, a standby diesel, a battery stand, a ventilation fan and modular bus duct and cable tray runs on their own stanchions. Doors, airlock leaves, lockers, drawers, drum lids, the scram guard, valve and tap handwheels, the hose reel, the turbine shaft, the fan impeller, the chart drum, the crane crab, the refuelling mast, the stacker carriage and the hook block are named nodes on their own pivots and ship rigid open, close, spin, tilt, idle, trolley-open, trolley-close, mast-open and mast-close clips: node transforms only, no skinning and no people. Cabling, flexible hose, lifting ropes and chains, the pond water, steam and the ink trace on a chart are static, because a flexible run needs a joint per element and a trace is a shader rather than geometry, and neither is reachable with one rigid node transform. No real station, operator, utility, reactor vendor, instrument maker or regulator is named or depicted and no real site is reproduced: every dial face, mimic symbol, plate and tag is abstract or blank, and the trefoil is the public safety symbol used as a shape. Every file is self-contained CC0 geometry with no collision or navigation data.

Common questions

How do I use Nuclear Power Station and Control Room with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Nuclear Power Station and Control Room with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Nuclear Power Station and Control Room in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Nuclear Power Station and Control Room fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
