Walkable demo
Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier
Walk a seaside pier out over the sand: kiosks and benches on the boards, a coin operated telescope at the rail, and an amusement arcade of cabinets, pusher and grabber machines on bold carpet at the far end.
About
What is placed
A pleasure pier laid on its own modules: deck sections carried on leg frames above sand and wet sand tiles, railings and gate sections down both sides, lamp posts with hanging baskets, and an entrance arch with its sign panel at the promenade end. Ice cream and fish and chip kiosks face each other on the boards, a shuttered kiosk shell stands by the arch, and benches, a life ring post, a coin operated telescope and a wind shelter take the seaward end. The amusement arcade fills the pier head behind wall modules and a partial roof: four upright cabinets in different art, a sit down driving cabinet, pinball, air hockey, a dance machine, a coin pusher, a claw grabber, a token change machine and the ticket redemption counter, all on arcade carpet under a sign panel and a CCTV dome. Below and behind, the beach carries two rows of beach huts, deckchair stacks, windbreaks, groyne timbers, a rock and sweet stall, a donut stand, litter bins, a tide and safety sign and the promenade railing.
What moves
The claw grabber runs its gantry out and opens and closes its claw. The coin pusher, the token change machine, the ticket redemption counter and both litter bins open and close, the railing gate sections swing, the kiosk shell shutter opens, and the coin operated telescope tilts on its mount.
What does not move and why
There is no water, the cabinet screens hold still, and flags, bunting and loose sand are static geometry or absent: none of it is reachable with the rigid node transforms this library uses. There are no visitors on the pier or the beach, because nothing here is skinned. Cabinet art is abstract, and no real arcade, game or seaside town is named anywhere.
Every piece here is a published model from the pack, placed by hand. Walk with the keys or touch, and approach a piece to see it move if it has animation. Colliders, navigation and gameplay are yours to add.
Points of interest
The pier deck
Deck modules bolted onto leg frames carry the boardwalk out over the sand, railings and lamp posts with hanging baskets down both sides and a gate section where the steps would drop to the beach.
Pier deck module (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)Kiosks on the boards
Two kiosk shells face each other across the deck: ice cream on one side, fish and chips on the other, with a third shell shuttered up by the entrance arch.
Ice cream kiosk (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)Looking out to sea
A coin operated telescope tilts on its mount by the rail, with benches along the boards behind it and a wind shelter on the end platform for when the weather turns.
Coin operated telescope (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)The prize counter
The redemption counter opens its shutter at the back of the arcade. Tokens come from the change machine by the door and go in a token cup on the counter lip.
Ticket redemption counter (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)On the arcade carpet
Four upright cabinets in red, blue, amber and plain art stand along the wall, with a sit down driving cabinet, a pinball table, air hockey and a dance machine on the bold carpet.
Upright arcade cabinet (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)Pusher and grabber
The claw grabber runs its gantry out and drops the claw, and the coin pusher opens its cash door: the two machines everybody feeds and nobody beats.

Models in this demo
Sand ground tile (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
A 4 m square of dry beach: a 0.1 m sand slab with low drifted mounds across it and a scatter of shingle, so a pier and a promenade have ground to stand on.
Wet sand ground tile (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same tile below the tide line: darker damp sand with the tide's ripple lines drawn across it instead of shingle, for the ground under a pier when the tide is out.
Pier leg frame (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The cast iron trestle under one deck bay: two raking leg pairs on their base plates, cross braced in the panel and braced again along the pier, with head beams at 2.6 m and a weed line up the legs where the sea reaches them.
Pier deck module (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The 4 m square bay a pleasure pier walks out on: two edge stringers and five bearers carrying a run of separate weathered deck boards with the gaps between them, and a nosing board along each end.
Pier end platform (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same deck bay widened into the lookout at the seaward end: a boarded bullnose on an iron kerb beyond the last bearer, with a run of railing standing on it so the pier stops at something rather than at nothing.
Pier railing section (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
A 4 m run of the pier railing: two standards with ball finials, a moulded top rail, a mid rail and a kick rail, and ten turned balusters between them, in the pier's bottle green cast iron.
Pier railing gate section (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same 4 m run with a 0.96 m opening in the middle of it: two short railing runs on their own posts and a braced gate leaf hung on the left post, which is how a pier reaches its steps, its landing stage or its fishing deck.
Pier entrance arch with sign panel (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The way on to the pier: two boarded and painted piers on iron plinths carrying a turned arch of thirteen voussoirs, a blank double sided name panel over it between two moulded bands, and lamp globes on the crown.
Arcade wall module (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The 4 m by 3.2 m bay of the arcade's own shell: a boarded timber wall faced both sides with a painted dado, a picture rail, a skirting and a cornice band, on corner posts that read as bays in a run.
Arcade carpet module (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The 2 m tile of bold patterned arcade carpet: a magenta pile on a rubber underlay with blue chevrons and amber dots proud of it, which is what carries the colour in a hall of dark machines.
Upright arcade cabinet (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The upright cabinet an arcade is a row of: a shaped side panel each side carrying an abstract block art field, a raked control deck with a stick and six buttons, a screen in its bezel, a coin door and a lit marquee.
Upright arcade cabinet, red art (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same cabinet in a second livery: the body, the side art blocks, the marquee field and the stick ball are recoloured, and nothing else changes, so a row of them reads as a row of different machines.
Upright arcade cabinet, blue art (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same cabinet in a second livery: the body, the side art blocks, the marquee field and the stick ball are recoloured, and nothing else changes, so a row of them reads as a row of different machines.
Upright arcade cabinet, amber art (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same cabinet in a second livery: the body, the side art blocks, the marquee field and the stick ball are recoloured, and nothing else changes, so a row of them reads as a row of different machines.
Pinball table (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The pinball machine: a raked cabinet on four legs with a glazed playfield of bumpers, flippers and a ball on it, flipper buttons on the side panels, a coin door and a backbox with a blank abstract backglass.
Dance machine (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The dance machine: a stepped platform of nine panels with the four arrow panels picked out in colour, a grab bar behind it, and a backboard with a screen, speaker grilles and a lit header over it.
Token change machine (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The change machine by the door: a steel cabinet with a note reader, a blank instruction panel, a lit head and a token drawer at the bottom that runs out on its runners.
Claw grabber machine (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The grabber: a glazed case heaped with soft prizes, a prize chute in the corner, and a gantry on a rail across the top with a two jaw claw hanging under it on its cord.
Coin pusher machine (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The two penny pusher: a glazed hood over a deck heaped with coins, a shelf that runs in and out under them carrying its own coin field, a drop chute at the front and a lit marquee over the top.
Air hockey table (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The air hockey table: a 2.1 m playfield recessed inside a proud rail on a lit plinth, with the centre line and both goal mouths marked, two mallets and a puck on the field, and a score head on a mast.
Sit down driving cabinet (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The sit down machine at the end of the row: a screen pod with a hooded display and a lit header, a wheel on its column with a gear lever and pedals, and a moulded bucket seat on its own pedestal behind them.
Ticket redemption counter (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
Where the tickets are spent: a 2.4 m counter with a glazed case of small prizes on the top, three tiered shelves of boxed prizes behind it on their posts, a blank header board over them and a ticket drawer under the counter.
Token cup (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The moulded cup a change machine fills: a 0.11 m plastic cup with nine brass tokens heaped in the bottom of it. The prop that says an arcade is being played in rather than standing empty.
Arcade litter bin (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same bin indoors: a plain stainless drum with a charcoal hood on the same hinge, which is what stands beside a change machine rather than on a seafront.
Arcade sign panel (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The bright sign over an arcade frontage: a bordered double sided magenta panel with amber bars and a blue ring standing proud of it, in the shape a neon sign takes, and a fixing plate on top.
CCTV dome camera (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The smoked dome over an arcade floor: a shallow housing on a square fixing plate with a tinted hemisphere under it, 0.24 m across.
Ice cream kiosk (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same kiosk in red, trading: three cones standing in the serving window, a chilled tub well with wrapped lollies in it, and a blank price board hung under the fascia.
Fish and chip kiosk (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same kiosk in blue with a range in the window: two fryer wells with their baskets and drain hooks, a heap of chips in one of them, a heat lamp gantry over the counter and a blank price board.
Pier kiosk unit shell (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The blank lock up every trade on the deck fits out: a boarded timber kiosk 2.4 m wide with a painted fascia, a felt roof on an overhang, a serving shelf on two brackets and a roller shutter over the window on a real pivot.
Pier bench (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The bench that faces out to sea: four timber seat slats and three back slats on two scrolled cast iron ends with a roundel in each, 1.8 m long and facing +Z.
Coin operated telescope (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The telescope at the rail: a cast iron pedestal with a coin head on it, a yoke of two cheeks, and a tapered barrel with an eyepiece and a sighting rib that tips on its trunnions.
Life ring on a post (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The life ring the pier keeps every few bays: a banded ring in white and red in an open cradle on a painted post, with its line coiled on the bracket beside it.
Seagull on a mooring post (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The gull that owns the pier: a herring gull with a grey mantle and a yellow bill standing on the weathered cap of a 1.05 m mooring post, wings folded.
Pier wind shelter (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The glazed shelter people sit in out of the wind: a painted frame 3.2 m wide with four back panes and a half pane on each return, a felt roof on a fall, and a slatted bench along the back facing +Z.
Pier lamp post with hanging basket (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The 3.9 m cast iron lamp the pier lights itself with: a moulded base, a tapered column, a scrolled arm carrying a planted hanging basket, and a glazed lantern with a finial over it.
Promenade railing section (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The heavier seafront railing at the top of the beach: turned cast iron standards, a tubular top rail, a mid and kick rail, and a roundel in each of the four bays. It couples to the pier railing on the same ports.
Beach hut row module (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
Two gabled beach huts sharing a party wall, in red and amber: boarded carcasses on sleeper bases, painted door frames with a pair of boarded leaves and a glazed top light each, and felted roofs over the gables.
Beach hut row module, blue and white (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same pair of huts in the second livery, blue and white, so a terrace alternates down the promenade instead of repeating one colour.
Rock and sweet stall (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The stall at the top of the beach: a boarded counter in candy pink with five glass jars of rock sticks on it, a tray of wrapped sweets in front and a striped awning on two poles over the lot.
Donut stand (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The same stall trading donuts: a fryer tray with a heap of sugared rings on it, a warming cabinet of boxed bags beside it, an amber fascia and the same striped awning.
Promenade litter bin (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The cast iron bin the council bolts to a promenade: a ribbed drum on a moulded plinth with an aperture in the front and a domed hood hinged on its back edge.
Tide and safety sign (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The sign at the head of the beach: two blank bordered boards in red and amber on a painted post, a blank pictogram block on the upper one and a tide scale marked down the post.
Deckchair stack (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
Four folded deckchairs leaning against each other on the sand, in red, blue and amber canvas on weathered timber frames, the way a hire stack stands when the chairs are not out.
Windbreak (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
The striped windbreak pitched on the sand: five pointed poles driven in a shallow curve with four canvas panels between them in blue, white and red, 1.2 m tall.
Groyne timber section (Amusement Arcade and Seaside Pier)
A 3.6 m run of timber groyne: six driven piles with weathered chamfered heads, three boards on the up drift face and two sea washed boards on the scoured side.
