About
A crowd in a box: fifty nine stylised low poly people and the pieces that go under them. Eighteen civilians cover standing, walking, running, sitting, leaning, carrying, pushing a trolley and taking a call, with children and older figures; eleven workers cover a builder, shop worker, chef, medic, mechanic, farmer, courier, cleaner and waiter; six uniformed figures cover a soldier standing, patrolling, kneeling and prone, a police figure and a firefighter; eight fantasy classes cover a knight, archer, mage, rogue, barbarian and villagers; five sci fi figures cover spacesuits, troopers and a pilot. Eleven support pieces finish it: T pose and A pose reference figures, a mannequin bust, a shop mannequin on a turntable, a jointed wooden artist's figure, round and square display plinths, a dais, a bench, a shadow contact disc and a four metre paving square. Every figure is STATIC geometry in a baked pose, deliberately. The pipeline behind this library ships rigid node-transform clips and no skinning at all, so an organic figure cannot be animated here: hinging a shoulder and an elbow as separate rigid nodes tears the limb open at every joint and reads far worse than one clean, considered pose. What you get instead is a pose that is correct from every angle, and a set of them that covers what a crowd actually does. The only animated models are inanimate objects: the mannequin and the round plinth turn on their turntables, and the wooden artist's figure swings its limbs on real pin joints. Proportions come from one table for the whole pack, so an adult is 1.75 m, the slighter adult 1.66 m, a child 1.16 m, an older figure 1.64 m and the barbarian 1.88 m, and figures from any two archetypes stand together correctly. Faces are two eye marks and a nose and nothing more: no figure resembles a real, identifiable person. Nothing carries a badge, crest, insignia, number, logo or any lettering, every colourway is invented, and no force, service, club, franchise or maker is referenced anywhere. The four seated poses are shaped to sit on a chair, bench or stool of roughly standard height, about 0.40 m to the seat, and they are supplied without one: place a seated figure at ground level against furniture from elsewhere in the catalogue, or against this pack's own plaza bench, rather than on bare ground, where it will read as hovering. Every kneeling and crouching pose, by contrast, rests on the ground itself and needs nothing under it. Metre units, +Y up, figures face +Z and rest at y=0 with the origin under the footprint. Eight shared materials keep a forty figure crowd inside the scene material budget, and the skin tone can be remapped per placement so a crowd is not one face.
