About
A repeating warp tunnel section. The shell is lathed as an open cylinder, eight ribs sweep along the inside and rotate forty degrees over the length, and a torus collar closes each end. Segments butt together one metre apart along the travel axis. Bounding size 0.90 by 0.90 by 1.01 m, metres, +Y up, +Z forward. Origin: free. The origin is the centre of the segment on the travel axis, midway between its two open ends, so a developer places this mesh by the point the effect emits from rather than by a base. The geometry surrounds it, reaching 0.45 m below and 0.45 m above the origin. Opaque solid geometry throughout: this pack uses no alpha blending and no transmission, so the silhouette and the emissive material carry the read. Static mesh with no animation clip, no skinned rig, no collision and no navigation data.
