About

Original CC0 joiner's workshop library: a cabinet table saw with its extension table and rip fence, a sliding mitre saw on a folding stand, a planer thicknesser, an open frame band saw, a spindle moulder, a floor standing pillar drill, a disc and belt sander, a wood lathe with its tool rest, a twin bag dust extractor and a mobile machine base, with a modular shell of concrete floor tiles, clad wall panels, a clerestory window strip, a roller delivery door and a ported extraction duct run on a 4 m grid. The bench side carries a laminated joiner's workbench with a working vice, an assembly table, a sawhorse pair, a tool board hung with chisels, a tenon saw, a bench plane, squares, a mallet and clamps, a clamp rack of sash clamps, a rolling tool chest, a sharpening station, a router table, a mallet and chisel tray and a bench plane on its own. Stock and finishing add a cantilever timber rack shown loaded and part loaded, a sheet material rack of ply, an offcut bin, a finished panelled door on its stand, glue and finish shelving, a finishing table, a drying rack, a workshop trolley, a collection bag of sawdust and a broom and dustpan, and the room is completed by a ceiling light bar, a fire extinguisher, a first aid box, a safety sign set and a workshop bin. Named pivoted nodes carry rigid node-transform clips only: the delivery door lifts, the saw blade, the band saw wheels, the lathe spindle and its blank, the sanding disc, the moulder spindle, the router cutter and the extractor fan turn, the drill quill feeds down with its chuck turning on it, the vice jaw and the tool chest drawers open and close, the trolley and base castors roll and the mitre saw head tilts through its cut. Drive belts, abrasive belts, the band saw blade, guarded cutterblocks, extraction hoses, the filter bags and every cord are modelled solid and never move, because a belt, a band or a piece of fabric is not reachable with one rigid node transform. No manufacturer names, badges or artwork anywhere: every plate and label is blank.

Common questions

How do I use Woodworking Workshop and Joinery with my AI development tools?
Press "Copy for AI agent" above and paste the prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or any other coding assistant. The prompt carries the direct CDN URL, the real-world size, the licence and the loading notes, so the assistant can fetch the pack and place it in your project without you writing the loader yourself. For a permanent connection, add the 3DAssets.dev MCP server to your tool with one command (for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dassets https://3dassets.dev/mcp) and the assistant can then search the whole catalogue, fetch files and read the usage snippets on its own.

MCP server setupGuide for AI agents

How do I get started?
Download the starter scene with the button to get every piece already placed as one .glb, or take individual models from the grid below, each with its own download and CDN URL. The JSON manifest linked above lists every file with its URL and size, which is what an AI agent uses to pull the pack into a project. Connect your agent to the MCP server and it can do all of that by itself.

MCP server setupAPI reference

Which game engines and tools can I use Woodworking Workshop and Joinery with?
Anything that reads glTF, which today means all of the major ones: three.js and React Three Fiber on the web, Godot 4, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender and the model-viewer web component. Every model in the pack is a self-contained binary glTF (.glb) with textures embedded, and so is the starter scene, so each is one file to import and no plugin, converter or decoder to install first.
How do I import this pack into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender?
Unity: install the glTFast package (com.unity.cloud.gltfast) from the Package Manager, drop the .glb into Assets and drag the prefab in, or load it at runtime from the CDN URL. Godot 4: copy the file into the project folder and the editor imports it as a scene you can instantiate. Unreal Engine 5: File > Import with the built-in glTF importer, which converts the axes for you. Blender: File > Import > glTF 2.0. Units are metres with +Y up in the file, and every importer above handles the conversion to its own axes automatically.
Can I use Woodworking Workshop and Joinery in a commercial game, and do I need to credit anyone?
Yes to commercial use and no to credit. Every pack on 3DAssets.dev is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain: use it in a paid game, an app, a film or a client project, modify it, redistribute it, and put nothing in the credits. A link back is welcome but it is entirely your choice.

CC0 licence text

Can I load it from the CDN instead of downloading it?
Yes. The starter scene, one .glb with every piece placed, has a permanent URL on cdn.3dassets.dev that is CORS-enabled and never changes content, so you can pass it straight to GLTFLoader, glTFast or model-viewer in production and cache it as hard as you like. Downloading is only needed for engines that import from disk.
Do I have to download the whole pack?
No. Every model in the pack is a separate published asset with its own download and CDN URL, so you can take one prop or the entire set. The starter scene is the one-file option for people who want everything placed at once.
Do the models in Woodworking Workshop and Joinery fit together?
That is the point of a pack. The members are built together to one real-world scale with consistent pivots and a shared palette and level of detail, so a building, a vehicle and a prop from the same pack sit correctly in one scene without rescaling or re-texturing.
