What is placed

A fenced yard about 28 metres across, laid on its own ground tiles with mud tracked and lane marked patches where the traffic runs. A raised skip platform with a stair flight looks down on a row of open top skips in four, eight and sixteen yard sizes, some loaded with household and garden waste, each labelled by a material signage board. Inside the gate are bottle and textile bring banks, a small electricals cage, a battery and bulb unit, an oil and paint drum bay and the reuse shop cabin. The traffic side has the entrance barrier, a marked queue lane, the weighbridge deck plate and its control cabin, a skip lorry and a bulk transfer trailer. The back of the yard is walled into material bays holding the wheel loader, the vertical baler, the conveyor feed hopper and stacks of baled cardboard and plastic. Site office and welfare cabins, floodlight masts, CCTV poles, safety signs, cones, bollards, litter bins, bag trolleys, drainage grates, a wash down point and a water bowser fill the rest.

What moves

The reuse shop roller shutter, the bring bank hatches and the litter bin flaps open and close as you approach. The entrance barrier lifts its arm. The wheel loader raises and lowers its boom, tips and levels its bucket and rolls its wheels. The skip lorry works its hook arm and rolls. The vertical baler opens and closes its door, the conveyor feed hopper spins its drum, and the bag trolleys roll.

What does not move, and why

Hydraulic rams beyond the one driven node, chains, cables and loose material are static geometry: none of it is reachable with the rigid node transforms this library uses, and faking it would cost a consumer more than it gives. There are no staff or members of the public anywhere in the yard, because nothing here is skinned. The modelled waste is neat bagged and boxed material, cardboard bales, timber offcuts and scrap metal shapes, with nothing unpleasant in it, and no real waste company or council is named on any sign or vehicle.

The skip lorry raises and lowers its hook arm to drop and lift a skip. The bulk transfer trailer parked on the far side is what takes sorted material off site.

Which game engines and tools can I use Recycling and Waste Transfer Yard with?

Download the pack for the models, and take the layout JSON linked above for the placements: together they are the whole scene, and an AI agent can rebuild it from those two links.
