About
An 18 m span of simple catenary overhead line: the messenger wire hangs in its catenary curve 1.20 m above the contact wire at the supports and sags 0.26 m at mid span, the copper contact wire is staggered 0.2 m either side of the track centre as real registration requires, and nine droppers hang between them. The origin is free rather than grounded: it sits on the contact wire at mid span, so the run is placed in mid air at y=5.90 above a track module rather than on the ground. Bounding size 0.40 x 1.23 x 18.00 m (X x Y x Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z forward. Static geometry; no rig, collision or navigation data.
