About
Free 3D model of a medieval brewhouse mash tun: a coopered oak vessel of twenty six staves on four iron hoops, with cross feet, a tap and a lift off cover, 1.7 m across. Dimensions 2.02 by 1.63 by 1.90 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Animated pivot nodes: cover-tun at (0.00, 1.53, 0.00) m. The cover lifts straight off; the staves, hoops, feet and tap are fixed. No liquid is modelled: a wort or water surface needs a shader, and a solid disc of it would read wrongly at any other fill level. Invented throughout: no real building, institution or text is reproduced, and any written surface carries abstract marks rather than letters. Claustral palette: limestone ashlar and darker rubble stone, lime plaster, oak and pine, lead, wrought iron, brass, parchment, undyed linen, madder and garden green. Rigid node-transform clips: open and close. No skinning. No collision or navigation data.
