Walkable demo
Underground mine tunnel
Walk a 50 metre mine drift built from the Underground Mine and Shaft Works pack: steel-arch, timbered and shotcrete sections, two widened chambers, a cross junction with two working faces, a loco and ore carts on track, a loader, a bolting rig and a refuge chamber.
About
One drift from 24 of the pack's 63 models, in the hall preset with dark walls and dusk light; the drift modules bring their own walls and roof.
You start at the mouth of the drift and walk north up the track. Timbered sections lead to a widened chamber with the ore pass raise collar, then the cross junction with the loader in the west branch, the bolting rig in the east and a working face at the end of each. The battery loco and its ore carts stand on the track beyond, then the second chamber with the refuge chamber, the personnel carrier and the power box under steel arch sections, and the ventilation airlock door closes the drift.
This pack ships animation clips: the loco, the carts, the loader, the bolting rig and the airlock door play as you come within three metres and rewind when you leave.
Every piece here is a published model from the pack, placed by hand. Walk with the keys or touch, and approach a piece to see it move if it has animation. Colliders, navigation and gameplay are yours to add.
Points of interest
Ore pass chamber
A widened drift chamber with the ore pass raise collar, a survey station and the drill steel rack. Drift sections are 4 m modules with their own walls and roof; the demo's hall is only the shell around them.
Ore pass raise collar (Underground Mine and Shaft Works)Cross junction
The drift cross junction with branches to two dead-end working faces. Narrow gauge track panels run the length of the main drift under ventilation duct, cable tray and compressed air runs.
Drift cross junction (Underground Mine and Shaft Works)Loader
The load-haul-dump loader in the west branch. It has clips: the bucket and the cab play as you approach.
Load haul dump loader (Underground Mine and Shaft Works)Bolting rig
The roof bolting rig in the east branch, with the explosives day box and a warning sign back in the main drift.
Roof bolting rig (Underground Mine and Shaft Works)The train
The battery haulage locomotive with two side-tipping ore carts and an end-tipping cart; the wheels and the tipping bodies have clips.
Battery haulage locomotive (Underground Mine and Shaft Works)Refuge chamber
The underground refuge chamber in the second widened chamber, then the personnel carrier, the power distribution box and the ventilation airlock door at the far end, which opens as you approach.
