Walkable demo
Metro island platform
Walk a 24 by 60 metre underground station built from the Modern Rail and Metro Network pack: an island platform with shelter, canopies, benches and displays, metro cars at both faces with doors that open, ticket machines and a stair, and tunnel portals at each end.
About
One station from 19 of the pack's 61 models, in the hall preset with dark walls, cool light and strip lights under a 9 m ceiling.
You start at the south end of the island platform under the departure board; the stair flight and the ticket machines are at the north end. The platform is five modules with end ramps, carrying benches, two information displays, waste bins, an emergency help point, the shelter, two canopies and the departure board. A metro driving car with open doors and an intermediate car stand at the east face, a driving car and intermediate at the west, on slab track that runs into tunnel portals at both ends, with colour light signals and relay cabinets beside the line.
This pack ships animation clips: the car doors and the relay cabinets play as you come within three metres and rewind when you leave. Walking stays at platform height; stepping off the edge is not stopped, so keep to the platform.
Every piece here is a published model from the pack, placed by hand. Walk with the keys or touch, and approach a piece to see it move if it has animation. Colliders, navigation and gameplay are yours to add.
