Lifeguard Low Chair (Public Swimming Baths and Poolside)
The same lifeguard station built low, with its seat at 720 mm and no climbing ladder, which is what is used beside a teaching pool or at a quiet session. It stands on the same four foot pads.
Poolside Handrail (Public Swimming Baths and Poolside)
A 1.6 m chrome poolside handrail on two socket plates, 980 mm high, with domed end caps and a yellow mid rail. It is the rail that flanks a set of steps or guards a change of level on a wet deck. Static geometry.

A tiled shallow end stair into a 2 m pool tank: four 500 mm steps 2.4 m wide, each tread tiled with a blue nosing, and a chrome grab rail rising out of the water on both sides. It stands on the tank floor and its top step finishes level with the deck.

A backstroke flag line: two chrome poles 2.15 m tall on cast socket plates 7.6 m apart, a white cord between them and twenty two red, yellow, blue and green pennants hanging from it. The cord and pennants are a flexible run, modelled in one still pose and never animated.

A 10 m lane rope strung across a pool, ready to sit at the water line: a stainless cable threaded with 60 mm floating discs in blocks of blue, white and red, with a tensioner and an anchor eye at each end. It is a flexible run, modelled in one pose and never animated.

A 2 m painted blockwork wall module 3.6 m tall for a swimming baths hall: a tiled dado on the wet face with a blue band over it, a glazed clerestory strip high up and a dark capping rail. Modules butt end to end on the 2 m grid.
