Cask Rack, Two Tier (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Timber dunnage rack 2.4 m long and 2.1 m tall: two braced end frames on stone pads, a head beam and two tiers of paired runners with oak chocks on them, each tier taking two casks lying on their sides. Racks lay end to end down a warehouse floor.
Cask End, Blank Stencil (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Loose oak cask head 0.88 m across on a low timber stand, leaning back so the face is in view: boarded head, a chime hoop and a blank stencil plate propped beside it. The face is deliberately empty, with no name, number, date or mark of any kind on it.
Cask, Barrel (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Oak barrel 0.88 m long and 0.62 m across the bilge, lying on its side: six driven iron hoops, recessed blank heads and a bung in the bilge. The smallest of the three cask sizes, and the one a single person can roll and upend.
Cask, Butt (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Oak butt 1.35 m long and 0.98 m across the bilge, lying on its side: six driven iron hoops, recessed heads at both ends and a bung in the bilge. Both heads are completely blank, with no stencil, mark or lettering anywhere on the cask.
Cask, Hogshead (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Oak hogshead 1.05 m long and 0.76 m across the bilge, lying on its side: six driven iron hoops, recessed blank heads and a bung in the bilge. The middle size between the butt and the barrel, for racking three high in a dunnage warehouse.
Weighbridge Plate (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Flush weighbridge 5.3 x 3.9 m: a steel deck plate with wear bars, a cast frame set into a concrete surround, guide kerbs down both sides and an indicator post with a blank read-out face. Deck is level with the yard, so a lorry drives straight on.
Hose Point (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Galvanised hose point 1.45 m tall on a concrete pad: a standpipe with two valved outlets on swan bends, handwheel rings, a vent at the head and a drip tray at its foot. The handwheels are modelled as part of the fitting and do not turn.
Hydrometer Set (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Hydrometer set on a 0.66 x 0.8 m bench footprint: a lined tray holding three brass hydrometers with their weights, a glass test jar with a brass foot and a thermometer, beside the closed fitted case they live in. No scale or lettering is drawn on any instrument.
Floor Drain Run (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Two metre floor drain: a concrete channel with a fall in it, a bar grating of thirteen cross bars in a rebated frame and end kerbs, sitting 0.25 m proud so it lays into a floor slab. Runs end to end for a full stillhouse or filling store gutter.
Filling Store Hose Reel (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Wall mounted hose reel 0.8 m across on a bracket plate: a painted drum of coiled hose on its spindle, a crank handle, a guide and a brass filling nozzle led off to the floor. The hose and its coils are one static body, because a flexible line needs a joint per element.
Sample Cabinet with Glassware (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Glazed sample cabinet 1.25 m wide and 2.1 m tall: a timber press with three shelves of unmarked jars, measures and graduated cylinders behind two glazed doors that open on their outer stiles, with brass knobs and a blank plate over the cornice.
Control Panel (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Painted control cubicle 1.8 m wide and 2.1 m tall on a cast plinth: six blank faced dials, five indicator lamps, a row of levers on a sloped desk, an unlettered plate and the cable gland in the back. Every face and label surface is deliberately empty.
Pipework Run with Valves (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Four metre pipework bay on two stanchions, 2.3 m tall: three lines in copper, stainless and brass on flanged joints, an elbow taking the middle line down and away on a wall bracket, and two gate valves whose handwheels turn. Lays end to end with more bays.
Fuel Hopper (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Steel fuel hopper 2.1 x 1.7 m and 4.3 m tall on a braced gantry: a square bin over a four way hopper, a gate box at the throat, a chute running down to a boiler front and a heaped load of solid fuel in the top. The gate does not move.
Boiler Front (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Brick set boiler front 2.8 m wide and 3.4 m to the flue: a bolted smokebox door in a riveted ring, a dogged firing door with a sight port, an ash door below, three blank faced pressure gauges and a water gauge glass on the brickwork. Nothing opens.
Steam Line with Trap (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Four metre lagged steam main at 2.1 m on two hangers: flanged at both ends, with a drop leg taking condensate into a bucket trap, an isolating cock and the discharge running away at low level. Bays lay end to end. No steam is modelled.
Pump Set (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Skid mounted pump set 2.1 x 0.95 m and 1.3 m tall: two centrifugal pumps with finned motors on a cast bed plate, volutes with flanged suction and discharge, isolating cocks on the delivery lines and a blank control box on the back edge.
Plate Heat Exchanger (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Plate heat exchanger 1.3 m wide and 2.1 m tall on a cast pedestal: a painted fixed frame, a stainless follower, a pack of twenty two gasketted plates between them, four tie bars and four flanged connections running out of the back.
Yeast Vessel (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Cone bottomed stainless yeast vessel 1.3 m across and 2.7 m tall on three braced legs: a banded barrel, a dished top with a bolted manway, a sight tube, a blank plate on the front and a valved dosing outlet at the cone. No liquid is modelled.
Steel Wash Back with Switcher (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Stainless wash back 3.5 m across and 3.2 m to the rim on four feet: banded shell, a sight tube, a charging line, a valved outlet and a driven switcher head on top whose four arms and paddles turn over the deck to knock the froth down. No liquid is modelled.
Wooden Wash Back (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Staved oak wash back 3.8 m across and 3.1 m to the rim, held by four iron hoops: a capped rim, a boarded floor, a charging line over the top, a valved outlet at the foot and a timber working deck with handrails down both sides. No liquid is modelled.
Grain Sacks (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Group of blank hessian sacks on a 1.9 x 1.5 m footprint: two standing full and tied, one slumped against them, two folded flat beside and a little spilt grain on the floor. No printing, stencil or mark of any kind on the cloth.
Malt Bin (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Boarded malt bin 2.2 x 1.7 m and 2.8 m tall on a steel frame: a square timber body over a four way sloping hopper, a capped rim and a steel outlet spout with a hand slide gate below. The gate is modelled shut and does not move.
Grist Hopper and Mill (Distillery and Bonded Warehouse)
Painted two roll grist mill 1.6 m wide and 2.6 m tall: a legged frame, a sloped feed hopper over the roll gap, two fluted rolls turning in the open front with pulleys outside each cheek, a discharge chute below and a blank instrument plate on the side.
