## What is placed

A service area laid out on its own tiles. The amenity building is assembled from glazed and solid facade bays with two automatic door bays in the frontage and a pitched roof over the concourse. Inside are three food court counters in different fascias, seating booths, table and chair clusters, self service ordering kiosks, a coffee stand, a shop counter with a till, snack and magazine gondolas, a cash machine, an arcade cabinet pair, an information totem, planters, recycling stations and a cleaning trolley, with toilets, a baby change room and a driver shower room along the west wall.

Outside, marked bays for cars, families, accessible users and electric vehicles fill the car park, split by crossing lanes and edged with bollards, lamp columns, litter bins, traffic cones, a trolley shelter and loose trolleys. Charging posts stand at the row ends. Long lorry bays and a delivery bay run down the west side past the staff cabin, the water tank, the generator and the bin store, with picnic benches for drivers. A second service yard sits behind the building. A planted strip of grass verges, picnic benches, bins and tree clumps closes the south side, fence panels ring the plot, and the slip road runs in from the east under a direction sign gantry, past a services sign, a speed limit sign and a queue warning sign, through a bend to the height barrier.

## What moves

The lobby doors slide open as you approach. The toilet, baby change and driver shower doors open, the cash machine flap opens, the ordering kiosk screens tilt, the recycling station and litter bin lids open, the bin store doors open, and the shopping trolleys and the cleaning trolley roll on their wheels.

## What does not move and why

The charging leads on the posts, the cables and pipework in the service yard, the water in the tank and the frame of the height restriction barrier are all static geometry: none of them is reachable with the rigid node transforms this library uses. There is no traffic on the slip road and no one in the building or the car park, because the pack has no skinned meshes and no vehicles. No real services operator, fuel company, food or coffee chain or vehicle marque is named on any sign, fascia or fitting.
