## About

## The place

A single open topped works hall, 45 by 35 metres, laid out as one process you can walk end to end. You start at the bean intake with the sack stacks and the roaster drum, and the line runs east along the back bay past the winnower, the grinder mill, the conche vats and the tempering machines to the chocolate tanks.

It turns south and comes back west through the moulding bay: moulding tables with bar, shell and praline trays, the depositor head, the vibrating table, the cooling tunnel sections and the demoulding station. The third bay is the sweets side, running east again with the caramel kettle, the boiled sweet drop roller, the lollipop spinner, the candy cane twister, the marshmallow extruder, the gummy starch trays and the dusting and panning drums, ending at the enrobing sections.

The last bay is packing: foil wrapping, flow wrapping, carton erecting, case packing and two palletiser arms, with metal detector arches and QC benches on the outfeed. Finished cases, pallet stacks and stock shelf runs fill the store along the south wall, with the coat and hairnet lockers, the wash sinks and the taste counter beside them. Conveyor runs, curves and an incline connect every bay, so the whole hall reads as one line rather than machines parked in rows.

## What moves

Thirty three of the pack's models carry clips, and they are placed along the path. The roaster drum, the winnower fan, the grinder mill, the conche paddle, the caramel stirrer, the dusting drum and the panning drum all spin. Conveyor straights, curves, inclines and roller sections turn their rollers, and so do the enrobing belt, the demoulding station, the drop roller, the candy cane twister and the marshmallow extruder. The depositor head and the filling piping head lower and lift, hoppers, chocolate tanks, clean in place tanks, tempering machines, control panels, lockers and the wall door panel open and close, the vibrating table shakes, the foil wrapper and flow wrapper spin their reels, and the carton erector, case packer and palletiser arms swing.

## What does not move, and why

Chocolate flow, the enrobing curtain, the foil web, steam and hoses are static. Fluid and flexible material needs a shader or a joint per element, and neither is reachable with the single rigid node transform this library uses. There are no people either: the pack has no skinned meshes.

Every wrapper, foil reel, carton, box lid and crate is deliberately blank. The pack carries no textures and no lettering geometry at all.
