## About

A shield hit for energy barriers. The cap is lathed with a rippling profile whose 55 mm amplitude drives two concentric waves clearly proud of the surface, a torus rim band and an inner band frame it, and six chamfered hexagonal plates stand 45 mm off the face as the barrier facets lighting up around the contact point. Bounding size 0.98 by 0.97 by 0.28 m, metres, +Y up, +Z forward. Origin: free. The origin is the contact point on the barrier surface, with the dome bulging forward along +Z, so a developer places this mesh by the point the effect emits from rather than by a base. The geometry surrounds it, reaching 0.48 m below and 0.48 m above the origin. Opaque solid geometry throughout: this pack uses no alpha blending and no transmission, so the silhouette and the emissive material carry the read. Static mesh with no animation clip, no skinned rig, no collision and no navigation data.
