## About

A glancing hit on armour plate. A torus marks the contact ring, a dished lathed cone 0.11 m deep fills it so the effect has real depth from both sides, a second torus sits behind, fourteen three sided sparks fire outward and slightly out of plane, and eight chamfered studs suggest the plate fasteners lighting up. Bounding size 1.12 by 1.08 by 0.26 m, metres, +Y up, +Z forward. Origin: free. The origin is the contact point on the plate, at the centre of the ring, so a developer places this mesh by the point the effect emits from rather than by a base. The geometry surrounds it, reaching 0.57 m below and 0.52 m above the origin. Opaque solid geometry throughout: this pack uses no alpha blending and no transmission, so the silhouette and the emissive material carry the read. Static mesh with no animation clip, no skinned rig, no collision and no navigation data.
