## About

A 40 x 32 m circus ground with the big top up: fourteen red and white canvas bays under a striped cone, skirted with scalloped valance, guyed down and staked, with the ring, its sawdust, three banks of tiered seating and two ringside boxes inside it. In front, a fenced field boundary with a gate, a bulb lit entrance arch, a ticket booth, blank poster boards, a popcorn cart, a candyfloss stand and bunting between the poles. Beside the tent an open practice ring holds the trapeze frame, the high wire and its safety net, the human cannon, the hoop stand, pedestals, tubs and the hand props, and behind it the yard is parked up with living wagons, a tractor unit, the cage wagon, a generator, cable drums, flood lamps and hay bales.
