Free 3D model of a treadle platen jobbing press: a 2.4 m tall clamshell press with a turning ink disc, a flywheel and a platen that closes, as a game asset. Dimensions 1.32 by 2.48 by 1.21 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Animated pivot nodes: inkdisc at (0.00, 2.06, -0.10) m; platen at (0.00, 0.44, 0.28) m; flywheel at (0.54, 0.74, -0.02) m. A cast iron platen press 1.0 m wide and 1.5 m deep with a treadle, a flywheel and a stack of blank stock on the feed shelf. The platen closes onto the bed on the open and close clips, and the ink disc and the flywheel turn on the spin clip. The treadle, the frame and the grippers are fixed; the connecting linkage between treadle, crank and platen is left static, because a linkage cannot be carried by one rigid node transform per part and faking it costs a consumer more than it gives. The forme on the bed is blank lead bodies in abstract rows, not text. Letterpress works palette: worn concrete, works brick, cast iron, machine enamel green, bright steel, brass, dark oak, pale pine, newsprint, printing ink black, type metal, brass and window glass. Standard PBR materials with embedded procedural maps. Rigid node-transform clips: open, close and spin. No skinning. No collision or navigation data.
