## About

Free 3D model of a medieval manuscript in progress: an open bifolium on a board, one leaf written and one ruled and started, with a worked initial and lead weights. Dimensions 0.62 by 0.20 by 0.44 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. A hero dressing prop for a scriptorium desk, 0.62 m across the board. Every written line is an abstract rib of ink at the rhythm of a written line, not a letter in any script, and the initial is plain geometric colour with no figure in it, so the page reproduces no real text. Invented throughout: no real building, institution or text is reproduced, and any written surface carries abstract marks rather than letters. Claustral palette: limestone ashlar and darker rubble stone, lime plaster, oak and pine, lead, wrought iron, brass, parchment, undyed linen, madder and garden green. Static geometry; no rig, animation, collision or navigation data.
