## About

A roll on roll off ferry terminal working a sailing: the ship lies astern of the linkspan with its stern ramp over the bridge deck, held off the quay by breasting dolphins and fender panels, and a car is already on the span. Behind it two shore ramps climb from the marshalling yard, where cars, a van and an articulated lorry queue in painted lanes between the check in booths, the barrier arms, the weighbridge and the lane number gantry. The passenger terminal alongside is built from glazed facade bays with its check in desks, seating, sailings board, kiosk and ticket gates inside, and the covered walkway runs from its entrance doors to the gangway tower on the quay. The roof is left off the front half of the concourse so it can be read from above.
