## About

Free 3D model of a small ribbed plaster dome on an octagonal drum for a desert mosque or madrasa: 2.8 m across, panelled drum and a brass finial. Dimensions 2.96 by 3.14 by 2.96 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Roof piece, origin on the centre of the drum foot, so it beds on a flat roof slab. Stands 3.14 m from the drum foot to the tip of the finial: the piece for a cell range, a gate chamber or an ablution hall, where the large dome would swamp the roof it stands on. Invented throughout: no real mosque, madrasa, city, institution or identifiable building is reproduced. Every pattern on it is an abstract geometric or interlace repeat, with no inscription, calligraphy or writing of any script, and there is no figurative depiction of a person or an animal anywhere in this pack. Desert palette: sandstone ashlar and darker stone, lime plaster, cobalt and turquoise glaze, cedar, split cane, brass, wrought iron, sand and courtyard green. Static geometry; no rig, animation, collision or navigation data.
