## About

Free 3D model of a painted and gilded ceiling coffer for a desert mosque or madrasa: a 1.5 m cedar panel with a geometric star field and a brass boss. Dimensions 1.50 by 0.26 by 1.50 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Ceiling module, modelled face up with its origin on the back of the panel, so it is placed by turning it over onto the soffit of a roof slab; a block of them coffers a whole ceiling on the 1.5 m half grid. The star field is an abstract geometric tessellation and carries no inscription or figure. Invented throughout: no real mosque, madrasa, city, institution or identifiable building is reproduced. Every pattern on it is an abstract geometric or interlace repeat, with no inscription, calligraphy or writing of any script, and there is no figurative depiction of a person or an animal anywhere in this pack. Desert palette: sandstone ashlar and darker stone, lime plaster, cobalt and turquoise glaze, cedar, split cane, brass, wrought iron, sand and courtyard green. Static geometry; no rig, animation, collision or navigation data.
