## About

Free 3D model of a date palm for a desert mosque courtyard or oasis scene: a 5.3 m scarred trunk with eleven fronds and three fruit bunches, 6 m tall. Dimensions 4.38 by 6.00 by 4.34 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Standalone, origin on the centre of the trunk foot. Plant it in a planting well, in a ground module or in open sand. The fronds are modelled geometry rather than alpha cards, so the model needs no transparent material and loads in every engine. Invented throughout: no real mosque, madrasa, city, institution or identifiable building is reproduced. Every pattern on it is an abstract geometric or interlace repeat, with no inscription, calligraphy or writing of any script, and there is no figurative depiction of a person or an animal anywhere in this pack. Desert palette: sandstone ashlar and darker stone, lime plaster, cobalt and turquoise glaze, cedar, split cane, brass, wrought iron, sand and courtyard green. Static geometry; no rig, animation, collision or navigation data.
