Free 3D model of a stone cistern cover for a desert courtyard: a 2 m stepped kerb with an iron capped mouth and a lifting ring, 0.6 m tall. Dimensions 2.00 by 0.61 by 2.00 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Ground piece, origin on the centre of the footprint. Set it on paving over the mouth of an underground cistern, at the low end of a runnel run. Static: the cover is modelled shut and does not lift, because the only lifting nodes in this pack are the chest and pen box lids. Invented throughout: no real mosque, madrasa, city, institution or identifiable building is reproduced. Every pattern on it is an abstract geometric or interlace repeat, with no inscription, calligraphy or writing of any script, and there is no figurative depiction of a person or an animal anywhere in this pack. Desert palette: sandstone ashlar and darker stone, lime plaster, cobalt and turquoise glaze, cedar, split cane, brass, wrought iron, sand and courtyard green. Static geometry; no rig, animation, collision or navigation data.
