## About

A working car repair garage 16 m by 12 m: marked concrete bay tiles inside clad walls and clerestory glazing, with the roller shutter in the right hand wall. The two post lift stands raised over the back bay under its extraction reel, with the bench and vice, the parts shelving, the parts washer, the compressor, the welding set, the engine stand and the engine hoist along the back wall. An 8 m inspection pit runs down the middle of the floor with the tool chest, trolley jack, axle stands, transmission jack and oil drainer round it, and the four post lift with its ramps fills the right hand bay. The front of the shop carries the brake roller tester and the headlight aim tester on their lane, the tyre changer, balancer and tyre stack in the right corner, and the reception counter, waiting bench, coffee machine and price board in the left. The front wall is left off so the shop reads from above.
