Free 3D model of a mitred canal lock gate pair for a historical waterway kit: two planked oak leaves on heel posts with balance beams, both swinging. Dimensions 11.76 by 3.78 by 3.30 m (X by Y by Z). Metre units, +Y up, +Z front, origin on the footprint at ground level. Animated pivot nodes: gate-left at (-2.51, 0.00, 0.00) m; gate-right at (2.51, 0.00, 0.00) m. A lock head 4.70 m between heel posts, with stone side walls and copings, the leaves 3.20 m tall. Each leaf and its balance beam is one node swinging about its own heel post, so the pair mitres shut and opens out. The paddle gear and the chains are modelled solid and do not move. No real town, mill, company or product is depicted, and every board and gable stone is blank or carries invented abstract shapes.
