## About

A 1.1 m by 2.6 m bedplate carries a crank bearing housing, a 0.24 m throw crank, a connecting rod, a crosshead running between two guide bars and a cylinder block with a bolted end cover. All motion is in the ZY plane. Overall size 1.1 x 1.67 x 2.85 m in metres, +Y up, +Z forward, resting on y=0. Node `crank` turns on the crank axis at y=1.32, z=0.15; node `crosshead` slides along Z; node `rod` pivots on the crosshead pin and slides with it, so the big end tracks the crank pin exactly. Clips: `idle` turns the crank one full revolution over 2.4 s, driving the rod and crosshead through an exact crank and slider cycle. Node TRS animation on named nodes only; no skinned rig, skeleton, collision or navigation data.
