Electric, bass and acoustic guitars stand beside a combo and a bass stack with the pedal board and its leads. A vocal mic with a pop shield sits inside isolation screens, and an upright piano and a synth on an X stand line the treated wall, with acoustic panels, bass traps and ceiling clouds around them and flight cases, a cable drum, stools, music stands, bottles and mugs between. Through the control room window, the console faces the monitors on stands, the screen desk, the patch bay, the outboard racks, the headphones on their hook and the tape machine.\n\n**What moves.** The flight case lids lift, the rack drawer pulls out, the cable drum spins, both tape machine reels turn, the desk chair spins, the studio door opens and closes and the cymbals tilt at their stand mounts.\n\n**What does not move, and why.** Guitar and piano strings, patch and instrument cables, the headphone cable and the acoustic panel cloth are static geometry: each is a string, a cable or cloth, and none is reachable with the rigid node transforms this library uses. There are no musicians, because nothing here is
